Something is Stewing at IBEX

There's something going on at IBEX. People have been asking questions. "Are you doing Clean Your Green this year?" "Where is Darryl Stewart? He hasn't been bugging me for money." "You guys do payroll right?"

There's something going on at IBEX. The garden out front is getting worn down and no one is phased. The Fast Transit Station is outshining all the garden work.

IBEX has a plan. Green will be cleaned this year. Probably like you've never seen it before because this year IBEX is playing tough. This year IBEX is gearing up for a Clean Your Green campaign that's just a little bit different. From the Clean Your Green braintrust we proudly present Clean Your Green 2012: Move the Greenometer.

Move the Greenometer

When we want change, we can make it together. Together we can rebuild the gardens south of the Osborne Underpass and get hardworking families a decent place to live through Habitat for Humanity. Through June and July the IBEX Herd will be rolling up their sleeves and mulching, weeding, and planting in the gardens to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.

But here’s the catch, they’ll only clean 1 meter of the garden for every $130.89 raised for Habitat for Humanity. That’s right. We’re playing hardball Winnipeg and we want you to play right back. As we raise more and more money we’ll clean more and more of the garden forming a visual meter of our progress in the campaign, a Greenometer if you will. So let’s get our hands dirty, clean the gardens, and raise money for Habitat. It’s time to Move the Greenometer Winnipeg!

About Clean Your Green

Clean Your Green is an annual fundraising campaign that will help change the life of a hard-working and well-deserving Winnipeg family. It’ll change the way you see your city too. In the tenor of both civic pride and community involvement, the Clean Your Green campaign serves two distinct, yet complementary, purposes:

  1. To evoke a sense of civic pride by making our city beautiful.
  2. To help hard-working Winnipeg families share in the pride and prosperity of home ownership in our spirited and generous city.

"Because everyone deserves a decent place to live.”
